Queta's Car Karaoke is designed to show song information and synced lyrics for music playing through Apple Music. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information the App Uses

The app may access the currently playing Apple Music track, including the song title, artist, album, duration, playback position, playback state, and album artwork. This access is used to keep lyrics and playback controls in sync with the music you are playing.

The app also stores your app settings locally, including your selected lyrics source, the remote text-file URL you enter, the loaded lyrics URL template, and the latest lyrics display state used by widgets.

Lyrics Sources

The app does not include a built-in lyrics catalog and does not ship with a lyrics database. If you choose to configure a remote lyrics source, the app may send song information such as track name, artist, album, or duration to the remote URL you configured so that lyrics can be requested.

Remote lyrics sources are controlled by their own operators. Their collection, use, and storage of information is governed by their own privacy practices, not this policy.

Data Collection by the Developer

The developer does not collect personal information from the app, does not operate user accounts for the app, does not use third-party analytics, and does not use advertising or tracking SDKs.

Local Storage

Settings and widget state are stored on your device using iOS local storage. Some state is shared between the app and its widget extension through an App Group so the widget can display the latest available lyric state.

Apple Music Permission

The app asks for Apple Music access so it can read the currently playing song and control playback. You can manage this permission in the iOS Settings app.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if the app's features or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made.
